Bangladesh’s Mehedi Hasan Miraz has been shortlisted for the ICC Cricketer of the Month award for April. He is competing against Zimbabwe’s Blessing Muzarabani and New Zealand’s Ben Sears.

Miraz delivered standout performances in the home Test series against Zimbabwe. Despite Bangladesh losing the first Test in Sylhet, Miraz took 10 wickets (5/52 and 5/50). In the second Test in Chattogram, he played a match-winning all-round role scoring a century and taking 5 wickets for 32 runs earning him both the Player of the Match and Player of the Series honors.

Zimbabwean fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani delivered an impressive performance in the Test series against Bangladesh. In the low-scoring first Test, he played a key role in Zimbabwe’s victory by scoring 17 runs and claiming 9 wickets (3/50 and 6/72). He also picked up a wicket in the second Test.

Meanwhile, New Zealand pacer Ben Sears stood out in the ODI series against Pakistan. The 27-year-old took five wickets across two consecutive matches, making a strong impact after being included in two games of the series.
