As of now, there are no credible reports indicating that Pakistan is sending back Indian nationals working in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
On Tuesday (April 22), gunmen killed 26 people in a shooting attack in Pahalgam, located in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. The incident has further escalated tensions between the two neighboring nations, with repercussions now extending to the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL).
In protest against the attack, the Pakistani government has decided to deport Indian employees working on the PSL’s broadcasting team. These employees, including engineers, production managers, and cameramen, play a crucial role in the league’s coverage. Their departure could disrupt the tournament’s live broadcasts, as finding immediate replacements may prove difficult.

A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official confirmed that the Shehbaz Sharif-led government had ordered the expulsion of Indian personnel involved in the PSL. “Many Indian nationals handling the league’s broadcast operations have been asked to leave Pakistan,” the official said. “Their sudden exit could create significant challenges in maintaining smooth coverage.”
Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Pakistan has severed all trade ties with India, banning the use of its territory and airspace for Indian trade even with third countries. This move marks a further deterioration in bilateral relations amid ongoing political friction.
