Bangladesh is set to tour Pakistan for a five-match T20I series in May. Ahead of the tour, Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s side will play two T20s against the UAE on May 17 and 19 in Sharjah. The Pakistan series will follow, with games scheduled in Faisalabad (May 25, 27) and Rawalpindi (May 30, June 1, 3).
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is expected to announce the squad on Sunday afternoon. Liton Kumar Das is likely to lead the side, following Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s decision to step down from T20 captaincy. Pacer Taskin Ahmed is unavailable due to injury, paving the way for Nahid Rana or Tanjim Hasan Shakib to join the pace unit alongside Mustafizur Rahman.
